Practice Yoga in the Kitchen Moving towards a plant-based diet has numerous health benefits, such as lowering your risk for cancer and heart disease, and improving the overall well-being of the digestive system. Most of us grew up on a “meat and potatoes” diet, and need help creating meals that don't include meat as the main ingredient. During this cooking class, we will discuss alternate sources of protein and understand how much protein we need for optimal health. We will also prepare and sample several vegetarian recipes with the goal of creating a new mind set about “what's for dinner”. Limit: 12 students Cook: Kelly Leonard |
